Choosing a landscaper can be an overwhelming task. Like when you hire a contractor for your residential or commercial property, the most important thing you seek is the creative abilities of the designer/Landscaper and willingness to think outside the box.
At EastLang, our approach is to follow five basic rules to ensure that our expertise and experience fits with the expectation of the customer.
At EastLang, we are a service and customer focussed organization and will not recommend a cluttered or unplanned landscape which is unattractive. We will work with you to develop a design that you will love, and your guests / visitors will enjoy, and be within your budget.
Needs Analysis: We listen and ask questions to ensure that we understand the customer’s need. Aligning our creative capabilities with the ideas of the customer helps us to develop a landscaping plan that meets the expectations of our clients.

Flawless Execution: All ideas look good on paper, it is the actual implementation that matters. It is important to deliver what is promised and keep the faith of the customer intact. We execute the landscaping strategy in accordance with the approved implementation plan.
Project Management: One of the core qualities of a good landscape service provider is resourcefulness. Usually, the landscaping designer /installer has to work within certain space and condition constraints such as availability of product, current infrastructure, and weather conditions.
Continued Maintenance and Support: Upon completion of the installation, it is imperative that the customer ensures that ongoing maintenance occurs. EastLang provides the customer with direction to keep the landscape in a picture-perfect form. With the exception of watering, EastLang will offer to provide complete maintenance service at a reasonable fee.
Commercial Landscaping: Commercial landscaping is governed by the choices made by the developer whereas the residential landscaping is more customized and based on the tastes of the property owner. A commercial developer must maintain brand identity and use outdoor spaces as extensions of brand identity whereas a residential property owner is driven by personal preferences.
In both types of landscaping markets, plants give texture and color to the plain spaces. EastLang Enterprises works closely with a residential property owner or a commercial property owner/ manager to develop a landscaping plan and year around maintenance schedule to keep the outdoors in the best shape.
Sunlight, soil, and water are the three main protagonists in all our projects.
Based on the location and direction of open space, we work on the plant strategy. It is important to know which groups of plants and flowers will create a harmonious environment. We pride ourselves for having the knowledge and experience to prepare a landscape that is serene and gives joy.
Rob Lotz – His Landscaping Installations & Background
Rob brings 20 years of landscaping design experience to Langley, Abbotsford Chilliwack and Hope.
Over the years, he has been providing fresh landscaping installations for high-rise buildings and providing maintenance along the Sky-train line within the Greater Vancouver Regional District(GVRD).
He has been involved with low-income housing yard maintenance as well. He has worked mostly within the GVRD and as far as Port Moody. While in Port Moody, he was with the horticultural department and was involved with all their landscaping requirements.
For a time, he stepped out of the landscaping service to take on laying underground pipe and road building for new city developments. As time went by, the open skies called him back. You see, Rob prefers to work with his hands, outside, with the sky as his ceiling.

Rob gains his highest satisfaction from putting in new garden beds, plants, gravel, lawns, and trees while distributing client satisfaction. With Rob’s comprehension of underground works along with the technical ability with Bobcats and heavy equipment, he is able to extend his services further to include some rough work as well.
